The Curran-Gardner Townships Public Water District is offering for sale a 2008 Toyota Tundra pickup. The truck is equipped with a V-8 engine, a four-wheel drive automatic transmission, and is blue in color. It does have air conditioning but the unit does not work. The vehicle has approximately 86,000 miles.
The vehicle is being sold “As Is” with no type of warranty. Vehicle needs quite a bit of exterior body work as well as cab interior work.
Interested parties may submit sealed bids to our water district office located at 3382 Hazlett Road, Springfield, Illinois 62707 no later than 3:00 pm on November 14, 2017. Bids may be delivered in person or by mail to the Hazlett Road address. Please write “2008 Toyota Pickup Bid” on outside of envelope. Please include contact information with your bid.
The successful bidder must provide payment with cash, Cashiers’ check, or money order within two weeks of the opening of the bids on November 14, 2017 at the board’s regular monthly meeting.

At the request of the Springfield Metro Sanitary District, the Curran Gardner Water District has agreed to serve as the billing agent for the Sanitary District. The Sanitary District rates, as determined by the rate schedule adopted by the Sanitary District Board, are now included on the Curran Gardner billing system.. The Water District has no authority to set sewer rates, nor to otherwise interfere in the operation of the Sanitary District. Questions concerning the rates set by the Sanitary District, or questions about the operation of the Sanitary District should be directed to the Sanitary District offices at 528-0491.
